The Initiation of Motion
The Power of Movement
Through
Orthopedic Massage &
Movement
Movement is Medicine! I integrate corrective neuromuscular breathing drills and functional exercises with orthopedic massage and bodywork to help alleviate pain and dysfunction. This approach enhances your range of motion, fosters freedom in movement, and encourages fuller breaths. You’ll feel amazing, energized, and truly at home in your body.
I invite you to experience the transformative difference of this integrative approach!
Welcome & Hello!
I’m Joi Dupre, and I am passionate about movement and massage, as well as creating a space that nurtures physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
In every session and class, I bring my passion, commitment, and expertise to provide a healing, nurturing, and educational experience. My goal is to create balance in all areas of your life.
My purpose in practice is to help everyone move through life with ease, freedom, power, and peace—effectively and efficiently.
Movement is LIFE!
“Much more of the brain is devoted to movement than to language. Language is only a little thing sitting on top of this huge ocean of movement.” – Oliver Sacks, Neurologist
Orthopedic Massage & Bodywork
I blend of various orthopedic styles of massage and bodywork to create a session that is specific to client’s individual needs. Integrating these therapeutic modalities will provide a more effective session allowing for quicker recovery and healing. Styles of bodywork include: Orthopedic Massage, Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques, and Neuromuscular Therapy, PRI Manual and Non-Manual Therapy Techniques. Sessions are integrated in nature in which the client may be asked to participate actively or passively to further facilitate the effectiveness of the techniques. Form dictates Function; so, posture will be evaluated to design a treatment plan that best serves the client.

Biomechanics and Breath
Movement Assessment & Corrective Exercise
Experience freedom from movement limitations and pain through Integrated biomechanics of human movement based on the teachings of biomechanics experts Conor Harris, Applied Integration Academy, Postural Restoration Institute, Zac Cupples, Katie St. Clair and David Grey Rehab. Each session will begin with an assessment and identification of biomechanical limitations in movement and postural patterns. Once limitiations are identified, an application of neuromuscular corrective exercise protocols with diaphragmatic breathing will be assigned. Full training sessions with these principles are also offered.
LYT Method®
Functional Yoga & Movement
Founded by international yoga pioneer and Physical therapist Lara Heimann, LYT™ is a sophisticated method of practice that is based on the three principles of Physiology, Kinesiology and Neurology. With a core understanding of movement from a cellular level while highlighting the mechanics of how movement happens, the LYT Method is an intense movement experience that systematically overrides the patterns of compensation and strategies through an exploration of brain mapping and purposeful movement. Learn the why behind every movement to harness your power and be your best. It is an energizing and playful core based vinyasa practice. I also infuse my biomechanics knowledge into these functional yoga and movement classes.
